As we continue to try and get ahead of the potential exit of Scott Frost, we must ask ourselves, who would be next in line?
One name that comes to mind that would keep the UCF brand in the headlines, and perhaps even provide more success on the football field, the one and only Lane Kiffin. Now before you crack up in laughter, Kiffin has truly revitalized his coaching career (and his Twitter game is on fire).
Kiffin had a successful run, call plays for the nations best team in Alabama. Then, after not getting along with the grumpiest man in college football, Nick Saban, Kiffin made his way down to Boca Raton to coach @ FAU. FAU isn't exactly known as a place you can win football games, and while they may be inside a winnable C-USA, he still lead the team to 9 wins and an undefeated conference record. An achievement never reached before @ FAU.
So, whatcha think? Would Kiffin be a suitable replacement if the Golden Knight moved back up to Lincoln, Nebraska?
