The Magic Must Do Whatever It Takes To Acquire A "Ready-Now" Star Guard

In today's NBA, a team needs to possess a Point Guard or combo-guard that can dictate the tempo of a game the way a Quarterback does in the modern NFL. The Magic missed out on being able to draft that type of star guard (Trae Young) by one selection in the 2018 draft, and it really shows. As a Magic fan, I feel pretty good about the front court nucleus of Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner, Wendell Carter Jr, and Bol Bol.. but the depth they've tried to put together in the back court just isn't doing it and it's the biggest area where the Magic get exposed on a nightly basis.

After being blown out by the Hawks, I'm ready to do whatever it takes to bring in a star guard even though I'm not even sure who could be available. The Pacers made a forward thinking move by acquiring Tyrese Haliburton for Domantas Sabonis at the deadline last season and he's been the spearhead of the new identity that Indiana has forged this season. I'd like the Magic to attempt something like that (or just wait for Scoot Henderson in the draft.)
