It's almost a fact that the World Champion Golden State Warriors can put together the best trade package in a deal for Kevin Durant now that he's made it clear he wants out of Brooklyn. The Dubs could trade two of Wiggins, Poole, Kuminga, and/or Wiseman as well as a draft pick which could/should solidify a deal. If you're Brooklyn, it's a no-brainer based on the situation they're in but if you're the Warriors, do you "risk it all" for a soon-to-be 34 year old Kevin Durant?
You could make the argument that the Warriors are aging themselves (Curry, Thompson, Green) so why not swing for the fences with Durant, it has been proven to work before. The flipside is that Wiggins If you're Durant, this feels like the only destination where you could actually win a title. It's probably too late to "save face" so you might as well win.
