My general working theory is that RB value in the NFL has been severly diminished because the best backs in the league don't play with the best QB's in the league and therefore, they don't make it very deep into the postseason these days.
Examples of the good ol' days:
(Aikman/Emmitt, Young/Watters, Manning/Marshall, Kelly/Thomas, Favre/Green…even look as recent as Big Ben and Leveon…or as far back as Terry Bradshaw and Franco Harris)
I explain deeper in the podcast attached below but here are a couple of the dynamic pairings I WISH we could see in the NFL today.
·Allen + Jonathan Taylor
·Rodgers + McCaffrey
·Mahomes + Saquon
·Justin Herbert + Derrick Henry
·Lamar Jackson + Nick Chubb
·Russell Wilson + Dalvin Cook
