Locks Bonus: Tuesday Night Football!

It has been well documented…my locks did not go so well this week. 1-5 in fact. But, the week is not over…and we still have 2 games on the schedule…and you know what?! I love both of them from a betting perspective…so, I am going to add 2 locks this week as we wrap up week 15…and hope that I can add some wins onto my record.

Season long 49-47. Let’s lock em up!

Seahawks (+7) @ Rams- Interesting game here, NFC West rivalry. Both teams playing really good football as of late, both the Hawks and the Rams have won their last 2. But I’m taking the Seahawks here, 7 points is just too much, I love seeing Russ cooking in the kitchen again, and the best part is – he finally has a ground game to lean on! Rashaad Penny 16 carries 137 yards and 2 touchdowns last week. Here’s an odd stat that points in the direction of the Hawks- The Seahawks rank last in yards allowed per game, but fifth-best in points allowed per game. So this team will give up plays, but they are still a tough team to blow out. Also, something to keep in mind- divisional underdogs are 9-3 against the spread over the last 12 games. I’ll take Seattle +7, lock it up!

Philly (-6.5) vs WFT- Washington is dealing with a whole host of COVID issues, their QB room has been so devastated by COVID, they were preparing Garrett Gilbert to be their starter. I don’t think that’ll be the case, but still, that’s a lot of prep time missed for either Heinicke or Kyle Allen. And those weren’t the only players out with COVID, so they have an uphill battle. Meanwhile, their defense, even when healthy just isn’t very good. The Eagles get Hurts back, they’ve established a consistent ground game – since week 8, the Eagles have averaged 158 yards on the ground per game (3rd best in the league). Plus, the Eagles ranks 6th in the league in touchdown conversion rate when inside the red zone…so they should be able to move the ball on Washington and score when they get close, great formula for a big win. Give me the Eagles -6.5, lock it up!
