EA Sports has released what has been speculated and anticipated for some time. Over the past few months, many have wondered who will grace the cover of the Madden NFL 22 game, from EA Sports. Word around the interwebs was that it was originally planned for Aaron Rodgers to be on the cover, but his rift with the Green Bay Packers caused and moment of pause with EA.

So last week, they released a teaser with "two goats" a little goat and a bigger goat, and today they officially released the cover images. See them below...

That's right, Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady both are on this year's cover. This isn't the first time for either of them. Brady was featured on Madden NFL 18 and Mahomes was on the cover of Madden NFL 20. In another first for Tom Brady, he becomes the first ever Tampa Bay Buccaneer be on the Madden NFL game cover.

The cover was scheduled to be released at 9am today, but an ad on ESPN's app was leaked a little earlier than anticipated. Check out the GOAT and the goat, in Tampa to film the commercial.
