It was announced on Tuesday that Florida State would play LSU in 2022 and 2023 in a neutral site series with 2022 being played at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans and 2023 being played at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

How did these two schools get together to make this happen? Gene Williams explains that there had been rumors last summer regarding the two schools getting together and that there was some negotiations behind the scenes to try and make it a home-and-home series after FSU had announced one with Georgia but they ended up sticking with a neutral site series in New Orleans and Orlando.
