Yesterday afternoon, I had just completed my pregame show notes/script. I'm spending some quality time with my wife and son before heading to the Amway Center, that's when we became aware of the news and the tragedy that befell Kobe Bryant, his daughter, and the rest of the people on board that helicopter in California. I was shook, as we all were, praying it wasn't real. But it was.

Needless to say, the script and the notes were thrown out the window, and I made my way to the Amway Center for what was sure to be a surreal night in the NBA.

I'm posting this podcast because of the raw emotion felt just hours after we, with the Orlando Magic broadcast crew found out about the loss of NBA legend Kobe Bryant. Along with Dennis Neumann, Richie Adubato, and Jake Chapman, we pay tribute to one of the best that ever played the game ahead of the Magic/Clippers game last night. Listen below.
