In what many thought would be an easy win for the L.A. Lakers, the Orlando Magic went into the Staples Center short-handed and were up by as much as 21 midway through the 3rd quarter before topping the Lakers by 1, 119-118.

This has been a bit of a trend for the Magic during their six-game road trip as they have had final minute drama in all three games thus far but are 2-1 and 6-2 over their last eight games. That could lead to a positive second half of the season.
