The Florida Gators gained a great player in the form of the No. 1 rated graduate transfer in college basketball. Kerry Blackshear Jr. announced on his Instagram saying, "My next chapter will begin in Gainesville, Florida."

Blackshear Jr. was a force for Virginia Tech putting up five double-doubles in their last ten games including an incredible 18 pts, 16 rebounds, and 5 assists in their final game against Duke in the Sweet 16. Blackshear stands 6'10" and will join an already stacked Florida team. With this move, Florida becomes the favorite to overtake Kentucky in the SEC.
