Baseball has been around for over 100 years and there are still things that we have only seen a handful of times. On Wednesday, May 8th we saw another great thing that almost never happens.
Josh Bell stepped up to the plate and absolutely crushed a ball into the Alleghany River. He's only the fourth player to every hit a home run into that river on the fly.
Allow me to repeat myself.
472 FEET!
That's a monster of a dinger.
