Vince McMahon has taken another step in separating the XFL from other football competitors, he's put more money in. McMahon sold around 3 million shares of WWE for the reported sum of $270 million. This is the second batch of stock that he's sold, the first being worth $100 million. That brings his total invested into the XFL to $370 million, $120 million more than AAF own Tom Dundon. With the AAF's future on shaky ground, this might be exactly what the XFL needs to put them over the top.
On a wrestling note, McMahon is still a majority owner of WWE. He owns 36%, which gives him 80% of the vote on wrestling and company matters. So those of you who were thinking this is Paul Levesque"s (Triple H) time to shine, you may need to wait a bit longer.
