It is being reported that only weeks after Bryce Harper signed a 13 year $330 million contract with no opt-outs with the Phillies, Mike Trout is getting his own major deal. Mike Trout is signing an extension with the Angels that will last for 12 years and will be worth $430 million. The contract will also reportedly have no opt-outs included.
Trout has spent his entire career with the Angels and it appears that he will end his career their as well. During his tenure, Trout has over 1,100 hits and bats .307 in eight seasons. He was also named AL MVP in 2014 and 2016.
