Colin Cowherd Says This Team Would Be the Ideal Destination for Sean Payton

Colin Cowherd: "Sean Payton has a home in Dallas, he used to be on the Cowboys staff, has relationships there, spends a lot of time there, and Jerry Jones loves him. I think Dallas is the #1 choice. Sean Payton has three years left on his contract so the Cowboys would have to trade to get him. Dallas has a good enough roster to make trades. They're not going to give you Zack Martin, they're not going to give you Dak, they're not going to give you Trevon Diggs, or Micah Parsons... Everything else I'd put on the table. Dallas makes a ton of sense. They would have to trade for him, but they've drafted well, they've got a good roster, and outside about four guys, there's a lot of guys I would move. It's also an easy division. You want Brady for two more years? Try Daniel Jones. That's a pretty attractive division."

List to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks the Dallas Cowboys would make the most sense to lure Sean Payton out of a temporary NFL retirement, as Colin believes Payton's familiar relationship with Jerry Jones and the city of Dallas could spark a potential blockbuster trade with the Saints similar to Jon Gruden and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers circa 2002, which cost Tampa two first round picks and two second rounders.
