Last year was a down year all around for the San Francisco 49ers. The team went 6-11 and finished last in the NFC West one year after making the Super Bowl. Injuries decimated the team and Brock Purdy saw his numbers drop across the board despite more passing attempts. Still, that did not stop the Niners from giving Purdy a five-year, $265 million contract extension with $181 million guaranteed as well as a no-trade clause. The team did lose Deebo Samuel via trade but re-signed George Kittle and Kyle Juszczyk. Marc and CV give their thoughts and Marc questions the media that likes to decide what quarterback is worth "x" amount of dollars.
Towards the middle of the segment, they transition to the owner's meetings coming up and a couple things that are up for votes including the "Tush Push" and playoff reseeding.
