I'm still of the firm belief that it is far too early to say Trevor Lawrence won't live up to the "generational talent" label but the topic inspired a discussion about pro athletes that were expected to be the next big thing, and either did or did not meet expectations. Sometimes injuries derail the potential and sometimes pundits are just flat out wrong.
