This week’s competition, let’s hit it! (spreads locked as of this morning)
1.Rays (-1.5) @ O’s- All the vibes are on the O’s. Walk off homer vs the Yanks from Anthony Santander yesterday, have to take the O’s.
2.White Sox @ Yanks (-1.5)- I was taught to always back Nasty Nester Cortez so I will follow blindly. BTW, Dallas Kuechel’s ERA up above 5, yikes. Sox have lost 6 of 9.
3.Rangers @ Hurricanes (-1.5)- Canes won game 1 by 1 in OT, I can’t see them going up 2-0 in this series, Rangers are too good for that noise. Expect Adam Fox to make a big impact in this one.
4.Mavs @ Warriors (-6.5)- Going back to the Dallas well, I may live to regret this, but they’re not as bad as they were on Wednesday. Assuming Luka is okay, I think they can cover the 6.5.
5.Oilers @ Flames (-1.5)- 15 goals scored in game 1, take the over! I have to back a team that can score 9 goals in a hockey playoff game, Flames for me.
6.Mariners @ Red Sox (-1.5)- Sox drubbed the Mariners yesterday 12-6, but we know how this works, the ebbs and flows of a baseball series – I like the M’s, plus, Robbie Ray on the mound for Seattle, I’ll take the +1.5.
7.Dodgers (-1.5) @ Phillies- Is it just me or are the Phillies always playing the Dodgers? The Dodgers are the #1 team in the league ATS, take LA.
8.Braves (-1.5) @ Marlins- Charlie Morton on the road, no thanks. I’ll take the value and the Fish.
9.Mets (-1.5) @ Rockies- Lockies! I am contractually obligated to back Colarado…not as locky lately (46% ATS) but still, soft spot in my heart.
10.Padres (-1.5) @ Giants- SF has Jakob Junis on the mound, he’s surrendered just 4 runs on the year, give me the G-men as home dawgs.
