The Brooklyn Nets Planted A Seed By Beating Down Philly On Their Home Floor

"It's just a regular season game" but not only did this matchup between the Sixers and Nets have juice before tip-off, it left Philly needing to regroup and may have given the Nets the boost they needed. The Embiid and Harden-led Sixers had been cruising prior to this matchup and now they're left needing to reconfigure things after a 129-100 beatdown at the hands of Brooklyn on their home floor. Philly fans probably should've spent less energy booing Ben Simmons and cheering on their own team.

There were so many storylines in this one including the forgotten man of the trade, Seth Curry, torching his father-in-law Doc Rivers for 24 points. Kyrie Irving made it personal matching up with Harden and he got the best of him, with Harden shooting an atrocious 3-17 from the field. We can only hope these two teams meet up in the postseason.

In the podcast clip below, Stefan (filling in for Kravitz) and I discuss Thursday night's action including Nuggets Warriors.
