UCF has seen Cincinnati and SMU up close and the Bearcats and Mustangs are where UCF wants to get back to. That will take an upgrade in talent. Gus Malzahn appears to be poised to sign UCF's best recruiting class ever.
That is a start but expect the Knights to be active in the portal. With the Big XII move likely happening in 2023, there is work to do before that slate of games...
