27 Wins Are A Realistic Expectation For The Magic

According to Magic President of Basketball Operations Jeff Weltman, now is the best time to be a Magic fan. Instead of finishing as a perennial 8th seed with no chance of competing for the big prize, Magic basketball operations blew it up at the deadline last year and are starting fresh with this roster filled with young guns. This team seems to have more depth than most people realize but wins could be hard to come by during the start of this rebuild considering this youthful roster. The Magic might struggle closing out games in the final minutes without a true alpha dog (you hope Cole Anthony and Jalen Suggs can become that), but they also might end up being the most fun team to watch on "NBA League Pass." They seem set up for the future with young building blocks and will have cap space when the time comes to eventually court free agents that could be a finishing piece once this young core is fully adapted.

In the podcast clip below, Bianchi, Kelly V, and Tozzi discuss Magic President of Basketball Operations Jeff Weltman's comments from yesterday's show about Mo Bamba and why it's the best time to be a Magic fan.
