Tropicana Field Is Hard To Take Seriously

Tropicana Field is not only the worst facility in sports for fans but the dome actually effects how the game of baseball is played. Through the years, there have been countless occurrences where as a fan or player, you just throw your hands up in the air when a batted ball hits a "catwalk." Depending on which part of the roof it hits, the ruling can either be a Home Run, dead ball, or even playable. I'm going to be honest, I still don't know the official rules on those.
In last night's ALDS Game One, we saw Nelson Cruz earn a homer via roof shot, and even Rays CF Kevin Kiermaier (who is known for his defense) couldn't even see or play a ball that got lost in the catwalk (it doesn't help that the ball blends in with the roof) which loaded the bases for the Red Sox. The Rays have become pound-for-pound the best baseball organization in the league: they deserve better, the fans deserve better, opposing players deserve better, and most of all, the game of baseball deserves better.
