Stone-Cold Locks of the Week via @BrandonKravitz

Time for my Stone-Cold Locks of the week – the bounce back was STRONG! 2-5 week two weeks ago, 5-3 last weekend, I’m ready to keep the momentum going!

throw away the keys – it’s time to lock it up!

Giants (+7) @ Saints- I get it, the Saints are marching back home after a tragic hurricane, this is usually a blow up spot for them, but this isn’t your uncles Saints team. This is a team that lucked their way to victory against an anemic Patriots team and was destroyed by the Panthers 2 weeks ago. I think we can throw out week 1 against the Pack by now, still can’t make sense of that one. Daniel Jones on the road is a real threat – DJ is 10-4 on the road against the spread. Follow the trend, Giants +7. Lock it up!

Panthers (+4.5) @ Cowboys- Let’s do some simple math. Panthers played last Thursday, Cowboys played Monday. So the Panthers get 10 days of prep and the Cowboys get less than a week. Also, the Panthers are still unbeaten folks, the disrespect is real, we’re doing what we always do – overhyping the Cowboys after a prime time win. Stat! Underdogs who are playing against a team who played on Monday night win OUTRIGHT 55% of the time. Panthers #1 trait, they rank first in rush yards allowed per carry, what do the Cowboys want to do? Establish the run. Bad spot for the Boys, back the Cats. Lock it up!

Lions (+3) @ Bears- Give me the Lions ALL-DAY against the Bears. A) We don’t know who their QB is going to be. B) I don’t really like any of them right now anyway. C) They are going to give up on this coach. That’s the most dangerous position to be in when you are in the NFL. The Bears will bottom out and then get better with an interim coach, you can just see the writing on the wall. Meanwhile, who plays harder than the Lions?! Give them their first win. I’ll take ‘em +3. Lock it up.

Seahawks (+3) @ SF- This just simply comes down to divisional rivalry and I can’t see a world where the Seahawks lose 3 in a row. This team has holes but they are still good and I’m not fully convinced this 49ers team has it all figured out. They have close wins over the Lions and Eagles, those don’t look all that impressive with a few weeks behind us. Then they got man handled by the Packers. Love the value with Seattle. Lock it up!

Broncos (+1) hosting the Ravens- Apparently the public doesn’t care that the Ravens had trouble in Detroit and needed a legendary moment to win the game, apparently they don’t care that Lamar missed multiple days of practice, or that their receivers can’t catch. 75% of bets have been placed on the Ravens! Count me in the worried group. Denver plays too good @ home and their defense might be good enough to keep up with Lamar if he gets going. Broncos +1. Lock it up!

Ole Miss (+14.5) @ Bama- My lone college pick on the slate. It’s rarely a good idea to fade the Crimson Tide when they’re playing @ Bryant Denny, but this feels like as good a time as any. Alabama showed us they are vulnerable in that game against Florida. This Bama team might be great, but its not an all-time great Alabama team. There’s a big difference. Last year, Ole Miss hung 48 on Alabama, albeit in a loss, but this Bama defense is worse than they were a year ago. I expect a lot of points from Matt Corrall and that Rebels offense. Either Ole Miss keeps up, or the back door will be wide open. Ole Miss +14.5.
