Kravitz: I Would Take the Following Players Ahead of James Harden

I have to admit, at times…I can be a glutton for drama. It’s a guilty pleasure of sorts…it’s why I love pro-wrestling, it’s why I get caught up in scenes on the bachelorette, it’s why today…when I should’ve been working…I was watching Jon Taffer yell at a drunk bar owner on bar rescue…

This James Harden stuff is right up my alley.

Have you been following this? So, Harden finally shows up to the facility…and he’s now got to pass 6 COVID tests.

The NBA required players to test negative for the coronavirus for three consecutive days before entering team facilities for individual workouts before training camp. Players were also required to quarantine aside from testing and workouts at the team facility and essential activities such as grocery shopping.

However, Harden opted to work out on his own at the University of Houston, and he attended rapper Lil Baby's birthday party in Atlanta over the weekend and then spent a few nights in Las Vegas. Harden did not wear a mask at the birthday party or in Las Vegas nightclubs, social events that violated the league's COVID-19 protocols. (More @ ESPN.com)

So clearly he wants nothing to do with Houston.

Latest reports state that the Rockets won’t entertain a trade with Brooklyn that doesn’t involve KD or Kyrie. And that Harden is open to a deal that includes sending him to Milwaukee or Miami.

(Both of which would be hilarious because of Harden’s tendency to play 0% of defense)

But all this Harden discussion (plus a recent NBA ranking on ESPN) got me thinking about where he ranks for me among players I'd love to have on my NBA team. Here are the players I would definitively take over The Beard:

1- LeBron James

2- Kevin Durant

3- Anthony Davis

4- Giannis

5- Steph Curry

6- Kawhi Leonard

7- Damien Lillard

8- Luca Doncic

9- Jimmy Butler

10- Jayson Tatum
