If the Canes Beat Clemson, is Miami Back?

Miami has been BAD for years now. They've lost at least three games a year since 2004 and have been missing from the national conversation, until now. The Canes go into this week 3-0 and ranked inside the Top 10 taking on the No. 1 team in the nation, Clemson.

Behind the athletic ability of D'Eriq King, the Canes have been explosive on offense and thanks to Coach Manny Diaz they are more disciplined than in previous years. Could this be the year that the U is back?

It's possible, to say the least, but what does it mean to be back? Is it one year of glory or is it consistency? For me, it is the latter. If year in and year out a team loses more than three games in a year, you are not back until that is a down year. That's coming from a Nebraska fan. It's fun to say that the Canes are back, but more accurately, they are on a zoom call with college football greatness. You can talk to them, see them, but they aren't really here.

What do you think?
