Are the Shorthanded Nets Making a Mockery of the NBA Restart?

Cards on the table, eight players have tested positive for COVID-19 for the Brooklyn Nets. That is A LOT of positive tests, but the NBA expected positive tests, what they didn't expect were those players to then opt out of the rest of the season. That's what has happened with the Nets.

Guys like Deandre Jordan, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Teshaun Prince all got the coronavirus and decided to stay home. Wilson Chandler just opted out for concern. For more on all the players who have opted out CLICK HERE.

What does this mean? It means the Nets are fielding team of has beens, wannabes, and never-will-bes for the return to the NBA. But that's what they want right? They don't want to win games. Instead they want to try and get closer to that No. 1 draft pick spot.

Is this the Nets making a mockery of the restart? You tell us in the poll below.
