Jameis Says Saints QB Room is Like a "Harvard Education"

Jameis Winston looks to be signing a 1-year deal to become a back-up QB in New Orleans (made official yesterday), and he's hoisting massive praise the way of Drew Brees & Co. in the process. I guess we shouldn't be too surprised.

Teddy Bridgewater recently revived his career with the Saints. Now look @ him, he signed for over 30 million in Carolina to be their franchise QB. I'm sure Winston is thinking the same could happen to him.

The one question mark with a statement like this is, what does that say about Bruce Arians? Is that a back handed remark? Or is Jameis simply saying that learning behind Drew Brees is "Harvard" like. You be the judge. Read his comments in this ESPN.com article:

"Being a part of the New Orleans Saints -- being a part with Drew Brees,Taysom Hill, Sean Payton, coach Joe Lombardi, coach Pete Carmichael Jr. -- when you think about that room, that's like a Harvard education in quarterback school," Winston said Tuesday during an appearance on "Chalk Talk" with Charlie Ward on Instagram Live. "So I wanted to put my ego aside -- put the money to the side -- to think about my family, think about my career.
