Just like in 2016 when Aaron Gordon finished in a controversial second place in the slam dunk contest, the Orlando Magic will open up their post all-star game schedule against the Dallas Mavericks. One thing the Mavericks did not have back in 2016, was a guy by the name of Luka Doncic.
Aaron Gordon is one of the best Magic defenders and will be tasked with attempting to slow down Luka, at least to start says Jake Chapman, "Yeah I would think so and you look at that team and there are other spots where you might want to deploy Aaron at times if need be but I think he probably starts on him. I think you maybe see Evan get a crack at him. You might see, depending on how the bench goes, a couple other guys get a crack at him but you start with AG there."
