The Florida State Seminoles are still without a coach as the 2019 season winds down. Bob Stoops was the hot rumor when FSU began their coaching search but that rumor has since died down and both appear to have moved on.
A few names that seem to be high on the list are Mike Norvell (Memphis coach), Brent Venables (Clemson defensive coordinator), and Odell Haggins (current interim coach for FSU). Gene discusses who is most likely to take over and if the fan base would be happy with whomever it may be.
Towards the end of the interview, Gene is asked if Florida State has a chance to upset the Gators in the Swamp and he said it would be "unbelievable" given the amount of disappointment this Seminoles team has gone through over the last three years.
