Daily Poll: In-State College Football's Most Dynamic Player

Florida State v Virginia

UCF has been the best team in the state of Florida for some time now. Their best receiver (or one of the best) for the last three years has been Gabriel Davis. Whenever the Knights need a big play, Davis is the guy. Through five games this year, Davis is averaging 20 yards per catch and has eight touchdowns already. Those eight touchdowns are tied for second in the nation.

Florida State has been struggling for a few years now but the one consistent has been the play of Cam Akers. Even during FSU's five win season last year, Akers still averaged nearly 4.5 yards per carry and scored six touchdowns. This year, he's already scored seven touchdowns and averaging over 5 ypc. FSU's offense will only go as far as Akers takes them.

Miami has a very young offensive line which makes running an offense very difficult. Their offensive star so far despite the O-Line has been DeeJay Dallas. He has two 100 yard rushing games despite not even breaking 15 carries in any one game so far this season.

An emerging offensive weapon for the Gators, Kyle Pitts has caught eight passes for 88 yards and three TDs in two games since Kyle Trask took over for the injured Feleipe Franks as the starting QB. Pitts ranks third on the team in receiving yards and leads the team in receiving touchdowns.
