Markelle Fultz was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. He's gone through shoulder issues for most of his two years in the NBA and was then diagnosed with neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome, a condition where blood vessels or nerves around the collarbone and first rib are compressed.
While not playing a game with the Magic last year, the team picked up his $12.3 million option, a move that Magic president Jeff Weltman called a "no-brainer".
The Magic will continue to be patient with Fultz but things are looking optimistic for both Fultz and the team.
