When teams aren't successful on the field no one is immune from blame. If it's a temporary failure players receive the lions share of the criticism. Over the course of a couple years a coach then becomes the one who shoulders the responsibility. What about after 6 years of failure? At that point, blame goes all the way to the top of the food chain to the owners.
