IS MEYER IN THE FAMILY?
According to Meyer himself: He said the cumulative effects of health problems, the current strength of the Buckeye program and the impact of a lengthy suspension to start the 2018 season convinced him to announce his "retirement" Tuesday morning. Meyer may stick around Ohio State in some capacity, but said his three decades in coaching have to come to an end.
We all know, it didn't end so well with Meyer and Gator fans. In fact, despite him winning 2 national titles @ Florida, Gator Nation practically hates Urban. Will this retirement (of sorts) create sympathy for the great football coach? Will it diminish the disdain Gator Nation has for him, now that he's not coaching a direct competitor?
