IN-STATE QB'S IN QUESTION
We came into this year with so much optimism for our (Jags, Bucs, and Dolphins) QB's. Tannehill was coming back from injury after a breakout year in 2016, Jameis Winston has more talent than ever at his disposal on the offensive end, and Bortles led the Jags to the AFC title game last year. Needless to say, if you were a fan of one of these teams...you were feeling pretty good.
Now, not so much. Essentially all 3 of them have been benched for their poor play on the field at one point or another this season (unless you're buying the extent of Tannehill's shoulder injury) and none of them have been all that good even at their best.
Contract-wise, Jameis is the easiest to get out of next season. Probably followed by Tannehill and then Bortles. But, it's the NFL, you can always find a way out of a bad contract. So, we ask the question, who is the most likely to be the starter for their respective team come next season? Vote below!
Fun fact: Their combined stats this season are...
4,174 yards, 24 TD's, and 36 turnovers.
