Adopt-A-Club for the Holidays
Many of our Clubs have very specific needs to help provide amazing program services to the youth in our community. Each Club identifies a specific core program area to be adopted, and provides a list of supplies that are most needed. By participating in the “Adopt-A-Club” program, your gifts are shared by the many children that attend our Clubs every day!
Club Wish List:
- Food for holiday parties
- Christmas Tree
- Holiday decorations
- Gift wrap supplies: gift wrap, tape, scissors, gift labels/name tags
- Board Games
- Art supplies and art kits
- Lego/MegaBloks/K’Nex
- Books (ages 6 – 18)
- Science Kits
- General supplies: electric air pump and rechargeable AA and AAA batteries
- Recording studio equipment (e.g., microphone)
- Athletic equipment (basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, kick balls, ball pumps, etc.)
- Dancing and sports video games for PlayStation 3/4 and Xbox One
- Culinary supplies: bowls, pans, pots, mitts, etc

General Holiday Needs for BGCCF Club Members
Holiday gift drives help ensure that every child at every club receives at least one gift during the holiday season. Listed below are a few ideas of items to collect for your holiday drive.
6 – 9 years old:
- Board games
- Sports equipment
- Toys (no guns, please)
- Dolls (ethnically diverse, please)
- Lego/MegaBloks/K’Nex
- Clothing: shirts, lightweight jackets, socks, shoes, etc.
- Art kits
- Science kits
- Coloring books
- Crayons
- Jump ropes
10 – 12 years old:
- Purses
- Hair accessories
- Board and table top games
- Sports equipment
- Clothing: shirts, lightweight jackets, socks, shoes, etc.
- Costume jewelry
- Toys (no guns, please)
- Art kits
- Science kits
- Low-cost tech gadgets (e.g., ear buds, usb/flash drives)
13 – 18 years old:
- Backpacks/school supplies
- Scientific calculators
- Low-cost tech gadgets (e.g. ear buds, usb/flash drives)
- Purses
- Hair accessories
- Cosmetic sets, nail polish
- Board and table top games
