THE STATE OF QB'S INSIDE OF FLORIDA
Believe it or not, if you went to UCF or are currently playing QB at UCF, the stability @ your QB position is A-Okay. Otherwise, there's still a lot left to be determined inside the state of Florida. McKenzie Milton is a rock solid stud, you know what you're getting from him. Blake Bortles just signed a new deal and is feeling as confident as ever leading his Jacksonville Jaguars. The same level of confidence cannot be said for FSU, UF, TB Bucs, or Miami Dolphins.
FSU- We're not even sure who is going to start, Deondre Francois was a star in 2016, but lost his job due to injury, and is battling the image of some off-the-field concerns. Would it be surprising if he isn't the starter for the Noles?
Florida- They have their own 3-headed QB battle. Feleipe Franks was the starter last season, but if you're just going off of last year, he didn't do ANYTHING to secure that top spot. With that said, he's received rave reviews from camp.
Tampa Bay Bucs- Isn't there at least an outside shot that Ryan Fitzpatrick plays so well in his first 3 games that head coach Dirk Koetter isn't so quick to insert Jameis Winston into the starting lineup coming off suspension? They start the season with the Saints, Eagles, and Steelers (who combined for 37 wins and a Super Bowl last season). If Fitzy starts 2-1, it'll be tough to take him out.
Miami Dolphins- Did you see Tannehill kick his rookie RB out of the huddle @ practice for missing a block?! The guy is a natural leader and a star in the making! Well, maybe...
