Podcast: Kravitz shares his crazy Magic draft plan with Bianchi

WHAT IF...

The Magic say, hey, we don't need to pick a player at 6 as much as we need to unload some bad contracts. Maybe the value in the 6th pick doesn't live within the pick itself, but what you could get for it, or the freedom it creates.

The Magic are probably at least exploring the idea of freeing up some cap space, in order to make a move @ a player later in the draft, and more importantly, a move or 2 in free-agency.

Here are a couple of mid-range players the Magic would be able to entice with a big contract:

  • Marcus Smart
  • Avery Bradley
  • Trevor Ariza
  • Jabari Parker
  • Derrick Favors
