Above is a video of last year's NBA Draft Lottery, if you'd like to relive that for some reason.
The Magic landed @ pick #6. A pretty big let down given what Magic fans have been through and the (perceived) strength of last year's draft.
This year it's much of the same. Magic fans just need something, anything to latch on to, to feel good about when it comes to their team. The lottery is just that, the question is, do you care anymore? We know this used to be a night that was the culmination for many fans, after enduring another 50 loss season. But, heading into year 6, 7, or 8 (honestly, we've lost count) of the rebuild. We wonder if this night has turned into just another disappointing NBA event for basketball fans in Orlando.

According to the Orlando Sentinel:
Because Orlando finished with the NBA’s fifth-worst record, it will have an 8.8 percent chance of winning the lottery, a 9.6 percent likelihood of receiving the second pick and 10.7 percent odds of picking third.
More likely outcomes are that the Magic will obtain the fifth pick (a 26.2 percent chance) or the sixth pick (a 35.9 percent chance). The team will have an 8.4 percent chance of receiving the seventh pick and a 0.4 percent chance of receiving the eighth pick. - Josh Robbins
