Daily Poll: Which coach does Orlando love above the rest?

Orlando meme

This is a question we've been wanting to ask for a while. Who among the short, but great list of coaches means or meant most to this town? Feel free to send any omissions to our twitter account @969TheGame or send your hate tweets to @BrandonKravitz as I am the one that settled on these 4 options. Jay Gruden was an obvious omission, but I just couldn't bring myself to leave any of the 4 listed below off the poll.

So, with that said, I'll list the options below with a brief explanation as to why they would deserve your vote, then - just do as you always do and VOTE ON THE THOUGHT-PROVOKING DAILY POLL!

  • Stan Van Gundy: Did more than just coach, he was heavily involved in the community, wildly acerbic, and always candid even when it was to his detriment.
  • Scott Frost: Made this community rally around UCF the way no one had ever before. He, without debate, made the biggest impact of all these guys, and in the shortest amount of time.
  • Adrian Heath: Possessed many of the same qualities as Stan, was truly a nice guy that cared about his fan base more than any coach we've ever seen, and helped usher in a new era of soccer in Orlando.
  • George O'Leary: Like your old, grumpy, but lovable grandpa. He was tough on you, maybe even a little mean, but it was always out of love. George acheived things at UCF no one thought were possible and Scott Frost wouldn't have been able to do what he did without the foundation GOL set in place. Also, he's the only coach listed with his own statue in this town. Think about that.
