Fantasy Football: Add 'em, Drop 'em, Try and Swap 'em Week 2 Edition!

Each and every week of the fantasy season, I’ll give you my favorite add of the week, a guy you can comfortably drop (non-injury related), and a player you should look to sell high on.

This is all based on what I would do – use this at your own discretion!

Add ‘em- Browns RB Jerome Ford- Without question the #1 player to add off of waivers. Sometimes its just too obvious. Unfortunate Nick Chubb went down with the injury – it sucks – but, we press on. Jerome Ford touched the ball 19x on Monday night for 131 yards. He’s not Nick Chubb, but he’s not that far behind. And this was a guy they were utilizing in week 1 before Chubb even got hurt. He had 15 carries last week, so this is a guy that should’ve already been rostered. Not he should be at 100% and if you play in a league with a FAAB budget, I don’t think you can overspend on him.

*A bonus name since that one is so painfully obvious- Jayden Reed of the Packers, we’ve seen his targets increase week over week, he’s a big play guy who they use in a very gadgety way. I don’t know what he’ll produce when Christian Watson comes back, but this team has a history of finding WR steals in round 2 of the draft – Reed looks like the real deal.

Drop ‘em- Ezekiel Elliott- He is A) Not involved and B) Not good. He’s had 12 carries total in 2 weeks and failed to eclipse 3 yards per carry on Sunday night. Scored 1 whole fantasy point and is only on the field for 29% of the teams plays. Not rosterable at this point, let someone else have him.

Try and Swap ‘em- Raheem Mostert- Perfect sell high spot for Mostert. He balled out in prime-time against the Pats, won some people weeks…but we all know how this ends. Mostert is the most injury prone player in the league, the Phins might still be in on Jonathan Taylor when he gets off the PUP list, and the Phins don’t really want to run all that much anyway. Mostert was always a short term play, get out while you can.
