Colin Kaepernick's life and career have been interesting to say the least. He was a new type of quarterback who put up massive numbers at Nevada and when he got to the NFL, he was electric. He played in a Super Bowl.
Then he threw it all away for a cause he believed in. He took a knee.
His way back to the NFL was filled with obstacles and hate while he continued to work on social justice issues. Now the world is starting to agree with him.
This story would make a great movie, but Netflix is taking it a step further and turning it into a documentary series. The 6-part series called "Colin in Black & White." It will be directed by renowned director Ava DuVernay.
