Pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong gathered to trample and burn LeBron James jerseys in the wake of his comments about Daryl Morey who supported their demonstrations.
While James acknowledged that the United States enjoys free speech, he said that people could have been harmed "not only financially but physically, emotionally, spiritually" by Morey's tweet backing the activists.
Protesters in Hong Kong responded by burning the Laker's jersey during a rally.
