Calvin Johnson wants his money back from the Lions. After a monster career, Megatron abruptly retired from Detroit on terrible terms. It is now the Lions who want to bring him back into the fold in a Barry Sanders-esque way. They want Johnson to be a team ambassador, but Johnson isn't jumping right on board.
Shortly after his abrupt retiring, Johnson was forced to give back a portion of his signing bonus to the Lions. That move now might cost Detroit a cool one million dollars. Johnson said, "They already know what they got to do. The only way they are going to get me back is they put that money back in my pocket."
Lions President Ron Wood has said that he wants to bring Calvin Johnson back into the Lions family but has not commented on the price tag.
