Odell Beckham Jr. has found himself in some hot water with the NY Giants. His PR has taken a massive yet with the latest video to be exposed, even though we don't know when it was filmed, still not a good look for OBJ. The video shows his smoking weed, while in bed with a model who has a white powdery substance lying in front of her...and a slice of pizza...for what it's worth. To compound this issue, Odell is now demanding that he get paid prior to the expiration of his rookie deal, which expires at the end of this season. Odell is set to make 8 million + this year, but wants to cash in now, and understandably - Odell would likely make north of 40 million dollars just @ signing, and then another 16 million a year...I'm using rough estimates of what other top WR's get paid.
With all of that known as a back drop to the issue, the Giants appear to be shopping Odell to the highest bidder. I don't know what exactly it would take to pry a talent like that away from the Giants, but I can surmise that the conversation would have to start with a first round pick, and then go from there. The question any team has to ask themselves is...do his talents mitigate his antics? What am I willing to give up for a diva wide receiver, who while dynamic, also appears somewhat brittle? I'm sure these are questions nearly every team in the NFL is asking themselves.
Our question today, which team inside the Sunshine State should be considering it most?
