Kravitz's Biggest Complaint About Baseball

Major League Baseball just doesn't seem to do a good enough job promoting intriguing matchups to make them feel like a "big" event. For example, Shohei Ohtani pitching against "Nasty" Nestor Cortes at Yankees Stadium should've been one of those games that has cache.

The Field of Dreams game was a major success last year but outside of that, there just aren't enough "stand alone" games that get the mainstream media talking.

As a diehard baseball fan, I'm not as concerned about that but it would be great for the sport if more individual games had that feeling of importance around the country. I had the idea of FOX Sports taking over Sunday Night Baseball as well as an in-season tournament featuring each organization's top prospects to promote prospect awareness and a smaller sample size for people to react to.

In the podcast clip below, Kravitz and I discuss these concepts.
