The Top 15 CFB Players in the State of Florida Heading into 2021

ESPN came out with their top 100 CFB players heading into 2021 list-

Only 4 players cracked the top 100:

Florida’s Kaiir Elam (40), Brenton Cox (59)

Miami’s D’Eriq King (36) and UCF’s Dillon Gabriel (33)

Based on my personal opinion and mostly research I’ve done, trusted experts: Here are the top 15 players in the state of Florida amongst UCF, FSU, Miami, and Florida. USF and FAU were safely excluded from this list.

(List in no particular order)

1.Dillon Gabriel UCF QB (Duh.)

2.Big Kat Bryant UCF DE (2nd team All-AAC last year, disruptor on the EDGE)

3.Matt Lee UCF C (1st team All-AAC)

4.Jaylon Robinson UCF WR (aka Flash)

5.Zach Carter Florida DL (Redshirt senior, the captain of the defense, they’ll go as he goes)

6.Jacob Copeland Florida WR (60% of the team’s offensive production is gone, 18.9 YPR last year)

7.Brenton Cox Jr. Florida LB (6’4 250, Cox lead the team in QB hurries last year)

8.Kaiir Elam Florida DB (Versatile, quick, can cover all levels. Will be one of the best DB’s in the nation)

9.Emory Jones Florida QB (He’s a big question mark at QB but we know he can move and he’ll be exciting at the very least)

10.D’Eriq King Miami QB

11.Bubba Bolden Miami S (The leader of the defense, one of the most dangerous players in the nation in coverage. 74 tackles and 1 pick last year, expect those #’s to increase)

12.Zion Nelson Miami OL (this guy is receiving all types of draft buzz, a good season could push him into round 1)

13.Cam Harris Miami RB (Once Harris hits his full stride, there aren’t many Hurricanes that are faster than Harris. Scored 10x last season)

14.Jermaine Johnson FSU DE

15.Devontay Love-Taylor FSU OL (The lone bright spot on one of the worst offensive lines in football, and given the fact that he’s protecting KZ, he might have the most important job in the nation.
