Dan Mullen has been the hot topic of the rumor mill for the last couple of weeks. We've heard that he could be heading to Jacksonville or New York for those NFL jobs. While he hasn't actively sought out these jobs, he hasn't outright turned them down either.
There are plenty of Gator fans who are frustrated with this. If he isn't going anywhere, why not say so? Put the mind of your fan base at ease and gain some favor after a year of rocky PR. Seems like the smart thing to do, but maybe he wants his name floated out there. Maybe he wants to be an NFL coach and so slamming the door on it this year could hurt his chances. It's unclear, but some fans want transparency. Do you?
