Florida Gators and UCF Knights Got DISRESPECTED in AP Preseason Poll

The AP Preseason Poll was released yesterday and there were some not surprising picks.Clemson and Alabama are in the top three, along with Ohio State who won't be playing in the fall. Two teams that got shafted in this poll were Florida and UCF.

Florida is ranked No. 8 in the country. Some people look at that and go, "Top ten! That's awesome!" This is the team with the best returning QB in the SEC. This isn't some up and coming team, this is a team that lost two games last year, one to the national champions and one to Georgia (don't worry, I won't talk too much about that one Gator fans). Like I said, their QB Kyle Trask is the best returning guy in the SEC and the rest of the team is experienced. They have dynamic playmakers and could legitimately be a playoff contender.

UCF is ranked No. 21. They are the second highest ranked Group of 5 team one spot behind Cincinnati and this is their third consecutive year starting off in the Top 25. Again the disrespect is incredible. Teams that start and end in the Top 25 should be rewarded. Consistency is key and UCF may have fallen off a little with three whole losses last year, but that is coming off of TWO CONSECUTIVE UNDEFEATED SEASONS. Their QB is young and was incredible in his first year with the Knights. The whole team was young a year ago and getting another year under Coach Heupel only bodes well for the Knights.

Expect both teams to climb the rankings quickly.
