Eagles Honor Kobe Bryant with Mural

Kobe Bryant was a big Eagles fan. He was born in Philly and went to middle school just outside of the area. He was overjoyed when the Eagles won their first Super Bowl in franchise history.

Eagles receiver Alshon Jeffrey shared images of the mural on his Instagram account. The mural contains three images: one with him from his playing days at Lower Merion High School, one of him in a Lakers uniform, and one with him in an Eagles jersey.

In the middle are 'Kobe's 10 Rules':

  1. GET BETTER EVERY SINGLE DAY
  2. PROVE THEM WRONG
  3. WORK ON YOUR WEAKNESSES
  4. EXECUTE WHAT YOU PRACTICED
  5. LEARN FROM GREATNESS
  6. LEARN FROM WINS & LOSSES
  7. PRACTICE MINDFULNESS
  8. BE AMBITIOUS
  9. #BELIEVE IN YOUR TEAM
  10. LEARN STORYTELLING

New Eagles cornerback Darius Slay, who is a Kobe Bryant fan, will wear the No. 24 jersey this year to honor the late Kobe Bryant.

Via ESPN:

"He's a true competitor," Slay said. "He worked on his craft, and I believe that the work you put in is what you get out of it."
