Why James Blackman is Starting over Alex Hornibrook

Florida State has a big matchup against Clemson this weekend and Willie Taggart has come out and named James Blackman has the starter despite Blackman coming off an injury and how well Alex Hornibrook has played. The second year head coach did say that both quarterbacks will see playing time, though he did not explain how much.

Brendan Sonnone explains why Taggart made the decision to start Blackman over Hornibrook, "He has the arm strength to force the defense to put two safeties back or if not, he can push the ball downfield and give you those 50/50 chances."

FSU is 26-point underdogs heading into the matchup and will need all the help they can get if they hope to pull off the major upset.
